Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS) is a spiritual brotherhood of monks and selfless workers devoted to the service of humanity. It was founded in 1917 by the illustrious patriot saint Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj. It is a philanthropic and charitable organization with non-sectarian
, non-communal and non-political character and outlook.
Bharat Sevashram Sangha has hundreds of ashrams in India and abroad including London, Guyana, Trinidad, Canada, New York, Chicago, California,New Jersey, Fiji, Toronto, Nepal,Bangladesh. It has initiated several missions to African countries, Malaysia, and Indonesia.Monks from the Sangha have accompanied United Nations delegations to Syria and Lebanon.
The multifaceted activities of Sangha include disaster relief, education, providing healthcare facilities, reforms of Holy places, vocational training and upliftment of the tribals.
Currently the Sangha is going stronger with it's mission and values under able guidance of monks;
In service of humanity and society, Bharat Sevashram Sangha has opened their Bangalore branch in Jakkur area on 2008 which is active till date.
Fund for all the activities comes through generous donation from oraganizations and indivigual well wishers.
